Introducing: The Story

Have you ever wanted to read the Bible from cover to cover but felt it was too daunting of a task?  Do you feel like you get bogged down by a long list of names? When you read the Bible would you like to know what it is trying to tell you, but no one is there to answer your questions? Would you like to know more about the stories in the Bible?  If you answered yes, then “The Story” is just for you!

“The Story” is a condensed version of the Bible.  In 31 chapters you will be swept into the progression of different Bible characters and events from the book of Genesis all the way to Revelation. This story is filled with intrigue, drama, conflict, romance, and redemption – and best of all, this story is TRUE!  Using the clear text of the NIV Bible, it allows the stories, poems, and teachings of the Bible to read like a novel.

Starting in October, each week a chapter from “The Story” will be assigned for everyone to read at home.  The sermon that weekend will then be based on that reading assignment. There will be time in the Sunday Morning class and the Tuesday night class for questions and answers about the readings.

We invite you to come and join with us as we journey through “The Story”. This is God’s story, this is your story, and it is my story. It is a story of God’s love for me and you. He loves us so much, that He willingly gave His one and only son at just the right time, to suffer, die and rise again in victory for you and for me. Come and join us on this journey.
